Dear Karen, Around here somewhere I have a list of IN counties, when they were established and from what other counties some of them broke. It came from the fromt of an IN census index book at the library; I don't remember which year, but I believe all of them have it. Check to see which counties the ones in question came from, as your time frame is early, around the time that alot of redistribution of boundaries was going on. Then check the surrounding counties, keeping in mind that not everyone on the census is also in the index. Hope this helps some. I have even read the entire Green and Daviess Co. census line by line to try to find them. What am I missing? Are there any off year census' for Indiana-- like an 1855 or 1845? "
