    3. The History of Lawrence County by James Guthrie is the one sold by the LCHGS and I'm sure it is available from the Bedford Public Library through inter-library loan. The other two - GoodSpeeds History of Lawrence, Orange and Washington Counties and the History of Lawrence and Monroe County can be found at the library but are in the "do not circulate" category. The Lawrence Co. Historical & Genealogical Soc. published a history of just Lawrence Co. for the years 1818-1990. That one may still be available to buy through the Society. In 1884 Goodspeed Brothers published a History of Lawrence, Orange and Washington Counties. You might want to check the Indiana GenWeb county pages for further information. > > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: [email protected] > To: [email protected] > Sent: Monday, May 13, 2002 4:49 PM > Subject: Re: [INLAWREN] History of Lawrence co > > > Mary Lou, > > They are two different books.
