BEDFORD WEEKLY MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA FRIDAY, DEC. 7, 1900 Burned By Hot Oil. A young man named MATTHLEU, of this city, was terribly burned in the face at Rockledge Monday. He poured some oil into a hot oil cup of an engine, when the oil exploded, striking him in the face. His entire face was badly burned by the hot grease, and it was feared his eyes had been destroyed, but this fortunately proved not to be the case. While painful his injuries are not considered dangerous.
