BEDFORD WEEKLY MAIL BEDFORD, INDIANA FRIDAY, DEC. 7, 1900 The Germans have definitely decided to build a church in Brownstown, and at their regular meeting appointed Charles F. EDDINGER, Henry SCHNEIDER and Henry HORSTMAN a committee to find a suitable site and report at the next meeting. From present indications C. T. BENTON's offer of a lot in his addition will be accepted. The building of a German church in Brownstown means far more to our citizens than we can realize and we should all give it encouragement in every way possible. A number of our most highly respected German family would move here if they but had a church. We hope to be able to tell our readers that the contract has been let before the end of a year. Banner.
