Trustee CHESS met with quite a painful accident last week. He fell on the frozen ground and broke a finger, but it is improving now and in a fair way to complete recovery. O. W. O. HARDMAN, when Sheriff of Tyler county, W. Va., was at one time, almost prostrated with a cold.
