    3. Hi to all genealogy biddies. I hope someone will help me if there is an answer. I am helping my granddaughter by marriage do her genealogy and the question I need to be answered is this. a distant grandfather of hers I don't know if it is gg or ggg yet but anyway she said he was left at the railroad station and people would come by and pick the kids up and adopt them. She said they was called railroad kids. Does anyone know anything about this . I have never heard of this before so I am hoping someone can give me some information so I can start looking. Thanks Barb
