I am new to the list and searching for Polly Helton, widow of Adam, mother of l4 children, Adam, Samantha, George, John, Pleasant, etc. She is in l850 a widow and my Elisha and Elijah Newton are living with her also (twins) and I suspect she is their grandmother but can't find the connection. I believe she died in l888 and possible was a Stern. I know they had Ky and Tenn connections also and NC. When do death records start there. I know there is a Heltonville. Anyone have info on that?
