Sutherland, one of Springville's old and highly respected citizens, was in the city Friday, the guest of his daughter, Mrs. I. E. Grigsby, on Lincoln Avenue. When asked about politics, he said to a MAIL reporter: "I cast my first vote for Wm. Henry Harrison in 1840, and I have voted for every Republican candidate since that time and am stronger in the faith today then I ever was. I shall vote for McKinley and continued Prosperity.
