Henry ZOLLMAN and son George passed through here Monday with forty head of cattle, which they purchased in Lawrence county. . The McKinley Club ratified at this place last Thursday night. . Don PLUMMER and John HINDERLIDER resigned their position at the Insane Asylum at Indianapolis and returned home last Wednesday. . Mrs. T. J. HOLMES is very sick with tonsillitis and neuralgia. . Contractors DEHORITY and SULLIVAN, after receiving pay for the completion of a part of our gravel roads, departed to parts unknown with the road about half completed and the employees unpaid. . Mrs. D. ROACHE is gradually growing weaker with consumption. . Tom PLUMMER's team ran away last Thursday, caused by wagon coming uncoupled. He and one of the horses were hurt considerably. . Henry HAYMAN and Marshall GOEN, of Heightenhill, called on their lady friends here Sunday. . C. U. WEDDLE will preach at the Church of Christ next Sunday. . All of the roosters around here have the cholera. . Died Aunt Eliza HINDERLIDER, aged 90 years. Departed this life last Friday. Her death was caused by paralysis. Interment at the HINDERLIDER graveyard Saturday afternoon.
