The Hammond Times Wednesday Sept. 29, 1937 Anne FUZY Complimented with shower gifts Mrs. Joseph KOVACH of Alder Street, entertained 30 friends the past Saturday night complimenting Anne FUZY who is busy with trousseau shopping and all pre-nuptual details which take her time before Oct. 30 when she will become the bride of John PEARSON of Chicago. The KOVACH home had been attractively appointed with fall flowers for the occasion. Earlier in the evening the women enjoyed games of bridge and pinochle and later were joined by their husbands and escorts. Prizes in the games went to Mrs. J.S. FODOR and Mrs. George SEVULKA in Bridge and Mrs. George SOLETSZ and daughter, Pauline and Mrs. Charles KOTSAN and daughter Bertha, in Pinochle. Out of Towners were the guest of honors sister, Mrs. J. S. FODOR and her husband of South Bend, Indiana cheryl BALOG wenberg
