Hi All Just wanted to make sure that I thanked all of you for the response I received on my inquiry: Just found relations who lived for a time in Whiting. My question is, what would make an immigrant move to Lake county IN? Obviously there could be other relatives there but I don't think that is the case here, but possible. I know that Standard Oil was a big employer but what else was around about 1903-1914? I'm looking for Krecelich/Krcelic, they were from Yugoslavia or Hungary. I did see an "American Slovak Club", does anybody know anything about them and where possible records can be obtained? Your answers were very helpful, and I thank you all for taking the time.
