Hello all, Someone wrote me asking where to find Naturalization records and described what happened when she tried. This is a common case scenereo when someone tries to get anything from Lake county, so I thought I would send it...just for fun. Lake counties circle of records: Book>Archives>Circuit court>Crown Point>Indianapolis>IRS>Library>Crown Point "I was wondering if you know where I might find Naturalization Papers for my gggrandfather. I have the book, the page number etc. but when I wrote archives said that it was from circuit court but when I contacted the Lake County Circuit court, they told me Crown Point. but Crown Point sent me number to call in Indianapolis that turned out to be IRS. I have talked to Lake County Library but they told me to go to Lake Co. Courthouse. So I am back where I started. anything would help."
