The Hammond Times Indiana August 29, 1935 Henry J. KLEE, 81, who entered the employment of the Straube Piano company in 1896 and was with the firm until his retirement in 1931, died today at his home, 7 Williams street, Hammond. KLEE, known by his many friends for his cheerfulness, had resided in Hammond with his family for 31 years. He was born in Memel, Germany, June 25, 1854, and was a deacon of the East Side Ill. Baptist church. The KLEE'S were married 48 years ago next Oct. 18. He is survived by: Wife: Emma Daughter: Mrs. Frieda CLARK of Chicago Sons: Max, Arthur and Lester of Hammond Henry of Calumet City Services Saturday from the Neidow funeral chapel and burial in the Oak Hill cemetery.
