The Hammond Times Indiana Feb. 8, 1937 Killed As Car Strike Bridge Howard DRAMSTADT, 23, a resident of Hammond and an employee of the Fred C. Rowley and Sons Construction Company, was killed early today when the car in which he was riding en route to Kentucky struck a bridge near Columbus, Ind. His body will be brought back to Hammond late today by his brother-in-law, George EBERLY, business agent for the laborers union here who left for the southern Indiana city shortly after word of the fatal accident was received. Details of the crash were not available this morning, but it was understood that another man was in the automobile with DRAMSTADT at the time. Young DRAMSTADT had been employed by the Rowley Company for the past year as a hod carrier. He was working on a new building which the company is erecting in Burnham.
