    3. The Hammond Times Indiana July 8, 1935 PAPP-LAKATOS Nuptials The Hungarian Holy Trinity Church in East Chicago was decorated with masses of peonies at the altar where Miss Helen PAPP and Albert LAKATOS of Chicago exchanged nuptial vows on Saturday June 29th with Rev. Joseph Sipos, performing the ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her father, was dressed in traditional white satin, the gown being made on grecian lines. From her headdress held in place with a coronet braid and orange blossoms, airy tuile fell in billows. Miss PAPP carried an arm bouquet of calla lillies. Miss Margaret PAPP, sister of the bride, servied as maid of honor and Mrs. Stephen ZELENCIK as bridesmaid. Serving the groom as best man was Oscar LANGE, of Racine, Wisconsin and Stephen ZELENCIK of East Chicago as an usher. A reception for a number of friends and relatives was held at Phil SMIDTS, following the ceremony. A belated honeymoon trip to Florida is being planned for late in the fall. At present time the young couple are residing with the brides parents at 1518 - 121st Street.
