    1. [INLAKE] Lola Brown in the News
    2. Sharon, I don't live in the area, so I don't have the answers to your questions, but I did find a few articles in the Newpaper Archives. This is all I found - many years of the Hammond paper have not been scanned yet. The Hammond Times Monday August 19, 1940 LAKE HILLS Mrs. Beulah HENDERSON and daughter Betty, Mrs. Lola BROWN and son Albert, James KEMPF and family motored to Terre Haute, Ind., to attend the funeral of their step-father Mr. LASWELL. The Hammond Times Wednesday July 31, 1940 LAKE HILLS Mr. and Mrs. Fred SCHMIDT of Indiana Harbor, Mr. and Mrs. Robert LAST and Mrs. Lola BROWN were visitors at the home of Mrs. Bob HENDRICKSON. The Hammond Times Friday June 7, 1940 FREE METHODIST Corner of Chicago and Hickory Rev. C.N. SCHUMAKER, pastor Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. A children's day program will be given by the Sunday School, with Mrs. Esther SNAVELY as chairman. She assisted by Mrs. Elsie WARNER and Mrs. Lola BROWN. All parents of the community are invited. Hi, Thank you so much for your efforts, I appreciate your help. Unfortunately, this Lola Brown is not my great aunt. Thanks anyway. Sharon
