The Hammond Times Monday Decembert 6, 1937 TRINEN, FORMER POLICEMAN DIES, BURIAL TUESDAY Sebastian TRINEN, 63, a former Hammond policeman, died yesterday at St. Margaret's hospital after a week's illness. He was believed to have been suffering with a heart ailment. TRINEN resided at 429 Russell Street. Surviving are four brothers, Nicholas of Chicago, John, Peter and Jacob of Schererville, three sisters, Mrs. Anthony LAUERMAN of Calumet City, and Mrs. Susan PIEFER and Miss Mary TRINEN of Schererville. A resident of Hammond for more than 35 years, TRINEN served on the police force from 1905 to 1915 when he resigned to take a job with the Michigan Central railroad. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. from Burns' funeral chapel to All Saints Church at 9 a.m. with the Rev. E. J. MUNGOVAN officiating. Interment will be at St. Michael's cemetery in Schererville. The body may be viewed at the funeral home.
