JOSEPHINE POLK Age 51 proprietor of the Alder Poultry Store in Indiana Harbor, died yesterday noon in her home at 3736 Alder Street. Death was attributed to pneumonia. She had been ill only a short time. Well known business woman in the city, the deceased came to Indiana Harbor 21 years ago. Surviving are: Husband: Alphonse POLK Daughter: Mrs. Lottie KAMINSKI of South Haven, Michigan. Daughter: Mrs. Eleanor PAUNOVICH Daughter: Mrs. John KUNDRAT Daughter: Martha POLK Daughter: Wanda POLK Son: Edward POLK Another son residing in Europe is also left to mourn.
