My brick wall is my JONES in Michigan areas such as Prescott in Ogemaw County Michigan, East Tawas in Iosco County Michigan, Flint in Genesee County Michigan. Those the only places I see listed on in a family Bible with births and dates. To start I am looking for a Pete JONES who married someone name Lydia, maiden name unknown to me. But she was born in Michigan. Pete died in from one of those diseases that was common. She then married someone named Chapel, don't know if that is a last name or first name. Next is a William BROWN. The picture I have looks like she is at least in her 60's, her hair is all white/gray. Written on the back with the information says the picture was taken in 1910. Lydia Jones has 3 daughters that I know of, Emma JONES, it says she was an old maid, Florida (Flora) JONES and Hattie JONES. I also have names on another picture with what looks like the same lady, Lydia, 2 different pictures of people with her. On it the one girl name is written Aunt Liddy JONES and the man says Uncle LAFFIE. Then about the child it just says, Liddy's kid...No other information..So I don't know if these 2 other people are her children or if my grandmother was writing and reffering to them as her Aunt and Uncle.. But anyhow those are the names I have in MICHIGAN... BTW, some moved to INDIANA at some point... Any JONES with those names in MICHIGAN? God Bless Pam
