Thanks, I am familiar with ancestors from Ohio County. I have not heard of Fordsville though. But if it is closer to Owensboro that is why. The information I gave is that I was going on what my uncle had told me. Supposedly he was raised there, had married someone name Phyllis McCallum in Hammond, Indiana, according to uncle. They divorced and he moved back to Fordsville. He does not know if he is alive or not. He may even have the last name spelled wrong and the age. He was the son of Mary Smith who married an Moffatt / Moffitt? Divorced him and married Jim McCallum or if his step-dad adopted him, which I think he did then his last name would have been Smith. Robert was supposedly Jim McCallum's son. But she left him and went back to the Moffitt man and he finished raising him. So it is believe he took on the last name Moffatt/ Moffitt. God Bless Pam
