Hello all, Just wanted to let you know I've been busy again and just added more cemeteries and ship passenger lists: - Sturdevant Cemetery, Dennis Ground (also Granger's buried here) -West Point (Taylor, Warriner, Lilly) and our only Revolutionary war soldier...sad story though "The story concerning the disapearance of the stones from this cemetery is that property became more valuable for business than as a cemetery. As a consequence either the county Commissioners or the Township Trustee or both condemned the area as a cemetery, allowed the stones to be thrown over the bluff into Cedar Lake, and permitted businesses to build on the site. " -McCarty Family Cemetery (McCarty, Young), only 2 stones found on the DAR reading in the 1950s (out of 25-30 burials), I dont know the condition of it right now. Also the burial of a now unknown Mexican War Soldier.
