The Vidette-Messenger Indiana June 27, 1932 Mrs. Catherine FERNEKES, age 75 years, died Saturday evening in her home on West Lincolnway following a lingering illness. She was born in Chicago on No. 28, 1856, and came to Valparaiso upwards of fifty years ago. She was the widow of the late Charles FERNEKES, one of the pioneer business men of Valparaiso. Survivors: Step-son: Peter E. FERNEKES Step-daughter: Miss Rose FERNEKES of Long Lake Brothers: John DAUBER of Oreville, Wash. George DAUBER of Iowa City, Iowa Charles DAUBER of Mankato, Minn. Sister: Mr. J. B. ROBB of Mankato, Minn. A son, Phillip, preceded her in death. Services will be held at the F. A. LePell & Son funeral home on Monroe street Tuesday in charge of the Rebekah Lodge. Rev. C. M. Small will preach the funeral sermon. Burial in the Maplewood cemetery
