The Hammond Times Indiana March 17, 1937 John HEISER, 70, died today in St. Margaret's hospital from an illness with which he suffered for more than a year. He was born in Lake county and lived in Hammond at 228 Carroll Street. He is survived by: Wife: Anna Sister: Mrs. Matilda SLAYTON of Rockford, Ill. Brother: George of Hammond Funeral services will be held Saturday from the Burn's funeral home to St. Joseph's church with Rt. Rev. Msgr. Francis Jansen officiating. Internment will be at St. Mary's cemetery in Crown Point. HEISER was a member of Unity Council, Knightws of Columbus, Catholic Order of Foresters and the Columbia League of St. Joseph's church.
