    1. Re: [INLAKE] BOHLING, Adam Obit 1937
    2. I'm assuming that Adam Bohling and his wife were buried at St. Mary's Cemetery in Evergreen Park (since there are no records of him in St. Mary's, Crown Point). Although his obituary states he died just 8 days after his brother Joseph, the cemetery records (St. Mary's, Crown Point) for Joseph show a 1935 death year (but even 1937 would be about ten years short of Joseph's age of 94 in Adam's obituary!) It is difficult to imagine that the person who gave the information to the Hammond Times would be confused, since such a close family member's death just 8 days earlier would be fresh in everyone's mind, so I can only assume that the gravestone for Joseph was misread perhaps. I've been unable to determine just which Miller was married to Adam's sister Lena... have searched my database (without success) under all Miller/Müller/Mueller spellings for a Lena or Magdalena without a surname, as sometimes would occur. Adam's daughter Mrs. Christina Mahoy had been listed in my database as the wife of one Edward Caron, so presumably this was a second marriage for her. Paul Davis
