The Lake County Times Indiana Oct. 12, 1926 WOLFE - JACKSON An attractive wedding took place at the First Christian church yesterday afternoon when Miss Dorothy WOLFE, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John M. WOLFE of Claude Street became the bride of Emmett JACKSON, son of Mr. and Mrs. Silas JACKSON of Oak Street. The wedding was a small one, including only the parents of the bride and groom, the bride's sister and brother and the groom's brother. The bride was lovely in a frock of beige with hat and accessories to harmonize. To complete her costume she wore a corsage of tea roses. Her sister, Miss Julia WOLFE, serving as maid of honor, wore Chanel red and a corsage of attractive flowers to harmonize. The groom was attended as best man by his brother Maurice JACKSON. Following the ceremony a well appointed wedding supper was enjoyed at the home of the bride's parents. Mr. and Mrs. JACKSON have left for Wisconsin for two weeks and will make their home with the grooms parents upon their return. Both the bride and groom are well known in Hammond. Mrs. JACKSON is employed at Gibson and her husband is a foreman at the Inland Steel Company.
