The Hammond Times Indiana Nov. 9, 1942 Old Settler of Cook, Ind., Dies Mrs. SCHAFER, 79, a life long resident of Hanover Township, died yesterday in her home near Cook. Her husband died 30 years ago. The deceased held memberships in the Holy Name church, the Rosary Society of the church, the Third Order of St. Francis and was a charter member of Unit No. 865, Women's Catholic Order of Foresters. Survivors: Daughters: Mrs. Cecelia KENNING Mrs. Cahterine KENNING Mrs. Ida BIZENMAN Mrs. Margaret BIZENMAN Mrs. Marie SAUER Sons: Adam, Henry, John and Frank Sisters: Mrs. Catherine AUSTGEN Mrs. Cecelia SCHUTZ Mrs. Susan MAGER, all of Cook and vicinity. Funeral services will be held Wednesday in the Holy Name church preceding internment in the church cemetery, Rev. C. W. Marr will officiate. The body was removed to the Geisen chapel in Crown Point.
