The Hammond Times Indiana Dec. 7, 1942 Friends of Mrs. Oliver BARTELS, Sheridan Avenue, will be sorry to hear of the death of her brother, William ROCKS, who was one of the 14 who perished when the tug sank on Lake Erie eight miles from Cleveland, a few days ago. Mr. ROCKS, 57, was Chief Engineer of the boat. None of the bodies have been recovered.
