The Hammond Times Indiana Jan. 21, 1946 Obits Mrs. Anna HMUROVICH, 48, of 1738 Davis Avenue, Whiting, died of a heart attack Saturday while attending the 25th wedding anniversary celebration of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph KALAPACH at Slovak Dom. The attack occurred around midnight and she was rushed to St. Catherine's where she was pronounced dead. Resident of Whiting for 23 years, she was a member of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Union No. 81, the National Slovak Society No. 111, the Slovak Gymnastic Union Socol 269, and president of the American Slovak Ladies Auxiliary. Services Wednesday in the residence and in the St. John Church, with Rev. John Lefko officiating. Burial in the St. John cemetery, Hammond.
