The Hammond Times Indiana June 9, 1939 Whiting Carl HERAKOVICH, 30, of 1914 Indianapolis Boulevard, born and reared in Whiting, died yesterday at the Crown Point sanatorium where he had been confined for some time. He is survived by: Parents: Mr. and Mrs. Peter HERAKOVICH Brothers: Peter, Walter, John, Rudolph, George, Paul, Richard and Robert Sisters: Ada, Dorothy, Clara and Loretta. The deceased graduated from Whiting High School in 1926.. Services Monday from St. John's church with Rev. John Kostik officiating. Burial in the Mt. Mercy cemetery. The body is at the chapel at 1225 119th Street.
