The Hammond Times Indiana Dec. 9, 1937 Whiting Mrs. Mary JALOVECKY, 60, died yesterday afternoon at her home, 2008 Superior Avenue, following an illness. Born in Czechoslovakia, Mrs. JALOVECKY had lived in Whiting 35 years. She is survived by: Husband: Michael Sons: Joseph and Steve Daughter: Mary Services will be held Saturday from the residence to St. John's Catholic Church where the Rev. John Kostik will officiate. Burial in the St. John cemetery, Hammond. Mrs. JALOVECKY was a member of the First Catholic Slovak "Jednota."
