The Hammond Times Monday Oct. 11, 1937 PEARMAN - LAUERMAN Wedding Took Place Oct. 2 Miss Geneva PEARMAN, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl PEARMAN of 739? Truman Street, and Stanley LAUERMAN, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony LAUERMAN of 626 Douglas avenue, were married on Oct. 2 in a small service performed by the Rev. Jasper COX for the 1 o'clock ceremony, and were accompanied by Miss Dorothy LAUERMAN, sister of the groom, and Carl REIDELBACH. For her wedding day, the bride wore a gown of white satin designed on becoming princess lines with a frill on the gown to resemble the modish boleros. Blue and white accesories completed the ensemble and the corsage Miss PEARMAN wore was of gardenias. Miss LAUERMAN wore aquamarine in a sheer gown of floor length. Her corsage of gardenias offered a stunning contrast. The bridal party returned to the home of the bridegroom's parent in Calumet City for a delicious dinner served attractively to them and a few close friends. On Saturday evening, Oct.2 an informal dance was given in honor of Mr. and Mrs. LAUERMAN and about 25 young couples arrived to extend felicitations and enjoy the evening with them. The newlyweds are now at home to their many friends at 46 Carroll street. Mrs. LAUERMAN is a granduate of the Hammond high school in this year's class, and her husband graduated from Thornton Fractional high School. He is now employed at the Prest-O-Lite company.
