    1. [INLAKE] 1907 marriage
    2. I just found information on the marriage of the parents of a very dear old man friend of mine. He knows nothing about his mother at all except that her maiden name was Sigrid Ekdahl, born in Sweden. Floyd Ganz will turn 94 on the 21st of February. He knows the date of his birth but has never even seen his birth record. He believes that he was born in Chicago, Illinois. When we was about 4 or 5 his father took him away from his mother and went to Italy with him. He never saw her again. His father would never tell him about his mother. I'm trying to get information for him for his birthday as a favor to his wife. The marriage index shows the following: Sigrid Ekdahl married Dominik Ganz on 30 December 1907 in Lake County, Indiana. Record is located in Volumn N page 347. I need to get just the name of her parents and any other information on her age, etc. (anything pertaining to her or her parents). Would parents names be listed on the marriage record at that time? If anyone has access to this information would you please let me know. I'd be very happy to do exchange research at the Salt Lake City Family History Library (I go there two or three times a week doing research). Any help, suggestions, etc. would be greatly appreciated. 1. [INLAKE] Looking for Robert MOFFETT**** Are you still alive? KY?
    2. Fordsville, Ky *** BULLITIN*** looking for a Robert Moffett. Wanted by a family member who has sadly missed talking to him. The last of the family around and wants to reunite. It is truly sad when family begins to die off. I mean the name is like gone. No one to carry one the name, no more reunions and no one to tell the tales of the old and knowing that you are the last of the family to be alive. That is why I must find if Robert MOFFETT / MOFFATT is still alive. My uncle is the last of which I have gotten much information from for my family tree. He lived it and was there to give me details. Robert is the son of my grandmothers brother Jim. Jim McCallum married Mary (Smith?) in we think some place in Indiana. She had been previously married to a man name Orrie? Moffett. She divorced and married Jim McCallum. They had a son, Robert. I think Mary went back to Orrie Moffett. The man raised Jim's son Robert and since he raised him much of his life he just took on his last name. Robert Moffett married Jim's McCallum's stepdaughter Phyllis McCallum in what is said to be Hammond Indiana. The time frame given was around 1947. I don't know if that was a marriage date or divorce date. because Robert and Phyllis divorced and Robert moved back to Fordsville, KY. So I assume that is where he was raised. My uncle had talked to him off and on but lost contact a long time ago. We want to find Robert and I have not been able to locate him yet. If anyone can help please email me. God Bless Pam

    2. Trying to find a marriage for a Daisy M. Brown and a James McCollum. It could be spelled McCallum as Daisy somehow changed the way it was spelled when she married. They live in Michigan. But could have gotten married in Indiana. I have searched but to no luck yet. There was about an 28 years age difference. He the older. She was only about 15 when she had gotten married. Had her first born in 1909 about age 16. If anyone can help shed any light it would be greatly appreciated. God Bless Pam

    3. Pam, You may want to try something like 800-search. I found my half brother that way. I gave them all the info I knew....which was very little actually. (Of course the more info you give them ...the better) It cost $20 dollars....I did it over the net. Within 30 minutes they emailed me back with the POSSIBLE results. A couple of pages of names and addresses. I made the calls and VOILA.....I found him! Good luck in your search, cheryl BALOG wenberg san diego, ca. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, January 05, 2003 9:57 AM Subject: [INLAKE] Looking for Robert MOFFETT**** Are you still alive? Contact the cemetery and ask for the interment/burial date. Most have records from the start of the cemetery, though for very old/abandoned cemeteries you're out of luck. Or figure out what religion they were and contact the church to see if they have any records of the persons death if they did a service at the funeral. Good luck Kathy
