If there is anyone out there that I have been doing lookups for that has not heard back from me........contact me. For some reason, a good deal of my emails that I have sent have not gone thru. I have Norton Professional........but also used Hotbar.....to add all those cute little "thingies" for fun. So I eliminated the hotbar. I may have to add "receipt requested" for a while to make sure that any information does indeed reach you. cheryl BALOG wenberg
Hi, I am new to the list. I am looking for information on Ellen Crisman and Bertie Frame who lived on Fayette St, Hammond Indiana in the 1930 census. They are both widows. Believe Bertie is Ellen's daughter. What happened to them and Bertie's son, Harry Haney? In a nutshell: In 1880 - Hobart Co IN Fed census: John and Ellen Crissman are the parents of two girls Chloe, age 7, and Cora, age 5; In 1892 - Chloe C. Crisman married James Elmer Smith in Lake Co IN; In 1894 - Cora A. Crisman married Louis R. Haney in Lake Co IN; In 1895 - Harry Haney was born in Indiana; (between 1895 and 1900 Louis Haney dies? Or they are divorced?) In 1900 - Hammond, Lake Co IN Fed census: John & Ellen Chrisman, 'Bertie' Haney and Harry Haney (misspelled Harvey) are living in the same household; In 1908 - Bertie Haney married Edward M. Frame in Lake Co, IN; In 1910 - Chicago, Cook Co IL Fed census: 238 Englewood Ave. 31st Ward Edward & Cora A. Frame, Laura B. Frame (his daughter by previous marriage), Harry C. Haney & Lottie McKimpson [cousin] are living in the same household; Hammond Lake Co IN Fed census: 551 Truman Ave John & Ellen S. Chrisman are living in same household (no children or others listed); In 1920 - Chicago, Cook co IL: 248 61st Place, 31st Ward Edward Frame, Cora Frame, Harry Haney, John Crisman and Ellen Crisman are living in the same household. In 1922 - Chicago, Cook Co IL: 6304 So. Halsted St., 32nd Ward John H. Crisman died. wife: Ellen Crisman; informant: Mrs. James E. Smith of Chetek Wisconsin In 1930 - Hammond, Lake Co IN: 296 Fayette St. Bertie Frame and Ellen Crisman are living together. Next door is a family headed by a James Smith and wife Delia Smith and son James Jr. Is this the James Smith of Chetek Wisconsin 8 years prior? Where is Harry Haney? Who are Robert, Louise and June Wilson who are living with them? When did Bertie Frame and Ellen Crisman die? Any suggestions for follow up will be greatly appreciated! Thanks - Junel Davidsen

I am trying to find an obituary or death certificate for Catherine Ann Patterson Allen, wife of Washington Allen, born in 1826 in Ohio. I find her in the census in 1900 and 1910 in Indiana. I have also found her mentioned in obituaries for two of her brothers, Russell Patterson (death May 3, 1907 in Lake County, Indiana) and Leander 'Lee' Patterson (death about 1912 in Danville, Illinois). I also have a family letter in which someone mentions visiting her in 1913 in Lowell, Indiana. She is not in the 1920 census that I can find. Can anyone tell me where to look for more information? _________________________________________________________________ High-speed usersbe more efficient online with the new MSN Premium Internet Software. http://join.msn.com/?pgmarket=en-us&page=byoa/prem&ST=1
