As a Huntsman researcher, I keep getting sent all this information on the family sent to me, with claims that many of them were born in LaGrange, Indiana, in the 1770s. This information is always completely undocumented, and I just wonder if anyone could help me out. I did a little checking and it appears that the first settlement in LaGrange was in about 1825 or so, so it doesn't sound reasonable to suppose this family was here, producing children, in the 1770s. To top it all off, the very ones born there are said to have died in PA....sort of a "backward" migration....as I know nothing of Indiana history, I hope someone can comment on the above possibilities.
