Spelled his name Ryason, m. twice. John Ryason, son of John Ryason, was born in Wheeling, W. Va., Mar. 18, 1801, and d. Oct 13, 1878. Resided first in Pennsylvania, then in Ohio and later settled in what is now La Grange, Ind., with his brothers, Issac, James and Samuel. They were pioneers in that section. His brothers did not remain in La Grange. Two of them settled in Illinois. He m., first, Charlotte Carney, and had by her sixteen children, seven of whom were born in Ohio.
