IN Obituaries Board URL: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/In/LagrangeObits?read=16 Surname: Howard, Miller ------------------------- On Friday morning,Aug.23,1895,at the age of 74 years,four months and one day,Uncle John Howard,as he was familiarly called,passed away.He was born in Wayne county,this state,but when young with his parents moved to Huron county,Ohio,and later to Wood county.April 6,1836,he moved to Milford township,LaGrange county,Ind.,and Aug.13,1845,was married to Catherine Miller.For many years they have been residents of Wolcottville,while children and grandchildren have gathered about them,'till as life's winter time drew on,he at last has fallen "as the leaf." The funeral was conducted at the Evangelical church by Rev. Hofferbert,with burial in Woodland cemetery.
