Thanks for the brief information about Robert McClaskey posted to the list; he was my gr gr grandfather. The 1843 date when he moved from Ohio to LaGrange County means I now have an upper limit on the birthyear of his penultimate daughter; the last one was one of the first children born in LaGrange itself.
