Article 1: I desire that all my funeral and last sickness expenses be first paid out of my estate. Article 2: I bequeath to my wife Lucy,all of my personal property of every description including all household effects,notes and moneys. Article 3: I bequeath to my adopted daughter Josie Royer,wife of Norman Royer,my house and lot no.15 in Wolcotts addition to Wolcottville,LaGrange County,Indiana and in which I now reside. Article 4: I bequeath to Clarence Black the parcel of land lying just east of Woodlawn Cemetery,Wolcottville,Indiana and containing about one acre and twelve rods.
