I,Adam Eminger,of the Village of Vicksburg,County of Kalamazoo and state of Michigan,being of sound and disposing mind and hereby revoking all former wills by me made,do make,publish and declare this to be my last will and testament,that is to say:After all my lawful debts, funeral expenses,the expenses of the administration of my estate and the expenses of a suitable monument which I direct my executors to erect on my burial lot,shall be paid, I give,devise and bequeath all the real and personal estate wheresoever situate and of whatsoever kind or nature which I may own at the time of my death as follows: I give, devise and bequeath all the real and personal estate which I may own at the time of my death,excepting debts which may then be owing to me from the estates of my deceased sons, Abram Eminger and William Eminger,unto my wife,Eliza A. Eminger of the said Village of Vicksburg,for and during her natural life,to be accepted by her in lieu of all other rights in and to my real and personal estate first above mentioned.From and immediately after the death of said Eliza A. Eminger,I give and bequeath unto my grand- daughter, Anna Wolfe,of the township of Orange,County of Noble and State of Indiana,my grand-daughter,Martha Ellen Heign,of the said township of Orange,my grand-daughter Georgia Sawyer,of the village of Kendaville,in said county of Noble,my grandson,Charles Eminger,son of my deceased son, William Eminger,of the village of Wolcottville,County of LaGrange and state of Indiana,my grandson Murrell Eminger of the said village of Wolcottville and my grandson Dale Eminger,of the same place of residence,the sum of twenty-five dollars each.I order and direct that all notes, accounts and other debts which may at the time of my death be owing to me from the estate of my deceased son,Abram Eminger or from the estate of my deceased son William Eminger be discharged without payment thereof.I give,devise and bequeath all the rest,residue and remainder of the real and personal estate which I may own at the time of my death, unto my son Eugene Eminger,of the said village of Wolcottville,my son Alfred L. Eminger of the said village of Vicksburg,and my daughter Martha Ellen Baker of the same place of residence,to be equally divided among them,share and share alike. I hereby constitute and appoint Manfred Hill,of the said village of Vicksburg,Executor of this my last will and testament.
