Sarah Earhart. I have a Daniel Earhart who moved to Elkhart Co from Preble Co, OH between 1860-1869. He died in Elkhart Co in 1869. He had a daughter, Sarah, born about 1846-8. 1850 census showed her as 4 years old; 1860 census showed her to be 12 years old. His wife, Cahterine, died in 1859. He also had another younger daughter, Ada Belle. I haven't found any record of them in Indiana, but this MIGHT be your Sarah. Dan had a brother, William, who had married Sarah RIDER, d/o Jacob Rider, either in Montgomery County, OH or more probably in PA abt 1826. William died in Preble Co, OH, where his wife and some of his children remained, but Daniel and his daughters possibly could have been in contact with some of the Riders. That may be how he happened to move to Ind. I have not found any other of our Earharts moving there. I would be interested in receiving info on your Lorenzo family. Ron Earhart Dayton, OH
