Kathy and Shirley, Thanks so much for checking your books. It was worth a try. Found him in 1880 census as a 3 yr old, but wasn't with them in 1900 census when they were in SD. Possibly he died somewhere along the way. S. Dakota records and resources are really lacking. Thanks again Pat Lorain, OH
