Hard not to notice that name Coffinberry. There are Coffinberrys in Richland County, Ohio. So, I checked my notes and found the following: George Ludwig Coffinberry was born in Stugart, Wurtemburg, Germany, early in the eighteenth century. Katrina Kimmel was born in Hanover about the same time. They were married in Germany and moved to the colony of Virginia, where they made their home at martinsburg, Berkely County; where all of their children were born and married, and where George Ludwig died at the age of 108 and whre katrina died at the age of 116. Their children were: Jacob Lewis--George Lewis--Mary married to George Stippe--Frances married to Frederic Stippe--Elizabeth married to James Curtis--Sally married to William McCaslen--Nancy to John Sivert--Katherine to Henery Young. I have more information on George Lewis and his son Andrew and Sarah Coffinberry. All lived in Richland County, Ohio. The path from Berkely County, Virginia to Richland County, Ohio from the documents I have is Ross County, Fairfield, Coschcoton, Knox and then Richland County. This may help you track your Coffinberrys. I haven't been able to make a connection with these Coffinberrys. George Lewis Coffinberry married Mary McClure in Richland County, Ohio but I have not figured out who Mary McClure is yet. The reason I am subscribing to Kosciusko Co, IN list is that Thomas and James McCluer in my line bought land in that county and are from Richland County, Ohio. Later in the notes of my third great grandfather, there is a John McCluer living in Warsaw, Indiana who he visits in 1880. James W.
