It's not likely that they would be using a Pierceton funeral home. (On the other side of the county) I check my copy of the REED FUNERAL HOME RECORDS that the section publishes and found where Samuel Garrison funeral had been held with them. The info given: "the funeral was ordered by Andrew and Dexter Garrison. Samuel was 69 years 10 months 12 days. Died Nov. 20th 1891, Buried Nov 22, 1891 and buried in Mentone Cemetery. If the GAZETTE was being published when the deaths occurred we have the microfilm of the newspapers at the jail museum. It's likely that Mary Ettinger would be willing to look up and make a copy of the obits if they are published in that newspaper. Be sure to give her specific dates to check for.
