    3. I have added a group of 9 articles titled EARLY SETTLEMENT OF KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, a series published in the NORTHERN INDIANIAN in 1874 and authored by "GREYBEARD" , pen-name for Isaiah Jones Morris. His biographical sketch is on pages 259-260 in BIOGRAPHICAL & HISTORICAL SKETCHES OF KOSCIUSKO COUNTY. His father, John W. Morris was a native of Maryland. J. W. Morris settled in Wooster Ohio and in 1836 moved to Indiana settling near the present site of the City of Warsaw. I. J. Morris was born in Wooster Ohio on January 16, 1822 and was nearly fifteen years old when his parents came to this county. He married Miss Rachel P. Barnes and they had 4 children: Benton Q. Morris, (soldier in C. W.); George W. Morris who eventually moved to Ellsworth Kansas, Charles Fremont Morris and Mary E. Morris, wife of Professor O. B. Clark of the State University in Bloomington.
