Merry Christmas, Kosciusko Co. Listers! Since I last posted on my Indiana Walker relatives this summer, I have been fortunate to acquire some additional information on my family. I thought that perhaps some of these names might ring a bell. I am seeking information on the ancestors & descendants of my great-grandparents Thomas Thurston Walker (Oct. 22, 1854- Jan. 15, 1926) and Lucinda Riley, (?- February 25, 1945). The family's origins are uncertain, but some descendants still live in the Kosciusko Co, IN area. My father and his brothers have roots in French Lick, IN and Allendale and Patton, IL. Here is how I fit into the scheme of things: Thomas Thurston Walker & Lucinda Riley (my great-grandparents) Shelby Lemon Walker (September 31, 1885-June 5, 1948) & Beulah Potts (January 7, 1891-January 1976) (my grandparents) (Siblings of Shelby: William Henry, Jesse Ellen, Samuel W., John Dshon, Walter Hunter, Clara C., Emma Tolliber, Otho Stephen, Susie May) Charles Wilson Walker (December 17, 1917, Allendale, IL - March 19, 1958, Chicago, IL) & Annabel Baker (b. July 24, 1918 in Mentone, IN) (Siblings of Charles: Robert, Francis, Frank, Paul, Billy Joe, John Eugene & Jerry Lee) (my parents) Shelby Walker worked for the New York Central railroad, and moved with his work to Patton & Allendale, IL, Claypool, IN and Sidney, OH.
