Hello All: I am looking for any information about my ancestor John Liveringhouse. I just obtained some probate papers showing that he died in 1877 (I think) - these papers give guardianship to two of his children to someone in December 1877 so I presume that is when he died. Said they were from Kosciusko County but the papers were filed in Elkhart County where many other relatives lived. I would appreciate it if someone could find him in a census perhaps in the 1870 census which would list his children or anyone else living with him. His wife's name was Mary Leer I believe and she must have predeceased him. Also, if someone can tell me where to write for an obituary of him - would there be a death certificate in 1877?
