Hi - As you may note if you read my occasional email to this and the Noble and Wabash County lists, I view the census films at a local FHC and take occasional requests for lookups on whatever one I happen to have. So, I am interested in doing this kind of work. However, if I had to accurately transcribe a census for a county by reviewing films, it would be a long process. I have about 200 - 300 households from the 1880 Noble and 1910 Wabash census and that took many many hours to do. I will volunteer to transcribe if either I can be expected to go quite slow, or if a more efficient way is used, such as viewing census pages electronically on my PC, rather than taking (hardly any) time available to spend at the FHC. I am interested in Kosciusko and Noble counties IN most of all, Wabash and Elkhart IN after that.
