While we're on the topic, I need help with Mary Lightfoot, who married Lanson Summy. Mary was born in 1836, but I can't find her parents. She is not the daughter of the well-known Christopher Lightfoot who was living in the Leesburg/Prairie Township area through the mid 1800s. He is even buried in the same cemetary as Mary (Clunette), so there must be some relationship, but not father/daughter. Perhaps his brother and family were passing through the area when Mary met and fell in love with Lanson. (Okay, so I'm a romantic.) Can anyone offer any help? Thanks. Jaira Hill Silverton, OR
