I have no Grindle names, but Finton may be connected. My great aunt, Edith Finton was born in Pierceton to David F.M. Finton and Margie (Strieby). David sometimes is enumerated in the census as "Marion". Here is information from 1900 census The Finton family was living in Warsaw on East Jefferson Street. (David) Marion b. 1862 Margie b. 1864 Elmer H. b. 1887 Homer F. b. 1889 Edith M. b. 1892 Myrtle b. 1894 Hazel b. 1898 By 1910, they were in Grant Co. IN Supervisor's district no. 11 Enumeration Dist. no. 52 Sheet no. 16b household no. 279 family no. 296 1910 Grant Co., IN Census Franklin Twp., City of Marion April 20th, 1910 page 91 Finton, David M. age 46 Married once 23 yrs. Construction Margie age 45 Married once 23 yrs. 7 born 7 liv Warren? age 08 Son Edith age 18 daughter Myrtle age 15 daughter Hazel age 11 daughter Verna age 3 daughter Edith married Clarence Bruner in Marion, Grant Co. 1916. Both died in Marion and are buried there at Grant Memorial Park along with rest of Bruner family (his parents, brothers, two half sisters). Myrtle married Charles E. COON in Grant Co., eventually moved to Battle Creek Michigan where they are found in 1920 census. Homer F. married Martha ______ and also was in Battle Creek in 1920. Hazel Eva married George SANFORD in 1919 in Battle Creek.
