It's easy to become confused with these two, similar sounding words. Here is a simple "memory trick" to help you keep them straight: · Emigration begins with the letter "E" like the word "EXIT" as when EXITing a country. · Immigration begins with the letter "I" line the word "IN" as when coming INto a country.
